Four year olds are now ready for more concentration, recall and recognition of objects according to size, color and shape. Their motor skills have developed to the point where they enjoy using glue, scissors, manipulatives and cooking experiences. Through planned activities, the fours are introduced to the alphabet and number concepts.

Centers such as dramatic play, science, library, blocks, manipulatives and free art will enhance these new found interests. A print rich environment will stimulate their literacy skills in a meaningful context. The High Reach Butterflies curriculum allows for expansion of our letters, colors, shapes, numbers, and character education each month.
