Welcome to Monarch Children’s Academy! Our Preschool VPK program prepares children for kindergarten with engaging lessons and structured learning. Here’s what you can expect from our Pre-K classroom.

Our Approach

At this stage, children develop important academic and social skills. Our program focuses on early literacy, math, problem-solving, and independence. We create a nurturing environment where children build confidence and a love for learning.

Our Curriculum

We use the Frog Street Pre-K curriculum to support early learning. This research-based program helps children develop in key areas:

• Language & Literacy: Strengthening vocabulary, early reading, and writing skills.
• Math & Science: Introducing numbers, patterns, and simple experiments.
• Social & Emotional Growth: Encouraging teamwork, independence, and problem-solving.

Teachers guide students through fun and interactive activities that prepare them for kindergarten.

A Typical Day

Our daily schedule includes:

• Learning Centers: Hands-on activities in math, literacy, and science.
• Outdoor Play: Active movement to build motor skills and social connections.
• Meals & Snacks: Enjoying nutritious food while learning table manners.
• Rest Time: A quiet break to recharge.
• Enrichment Activities: Art, music, and storytelling.
• Closing Circle: Reviewing the day and preparing for tomorrow.

What to Bring

To help your child have a great day, please provide:

• A backpack for personal belongings.
• Extra change of clothes.
• Comfortable shoes for active play.
• A water bottle for hydration.
• Completed forms for health, allergies, and special needs.

Stay Connected

We use a communication app to keep parents informed. You’ll receive updates on meals, activities, and learning milestones. We also share photos and videos! Feel free to reach out through the app or in person with any questions.
