Infants
Infants Program
Welcome to Infant Care at Monarch Children’s Academy!
We are happy you are considering us for your child. This guide gives a quick look at our infant room and how to prepare for your baby’s daycare experience.
Our Philosophy
At Monarch Children’s Academy, we create a safe and fun space where infants grow. Our program builds strong bonds, encourages learning through play, and meets each baby’s unique needs. We also provide a warm, home-like atmosphere where babies feel secure. To support learning, we use the Frog Street Infant curriculum.
About Frog Street Infant
Frog Street Infant, made for babies from birth to 18 months, focuses on daily interactions, routines, and play. It helps with:
- Connection: Strengthening bonds between caregivers and infants.
- Engagement: Encouraging curiosity and discovery.
- Communication: Building language skills with songs, rhymes, and sign language.
- Exploration: Supporting learning through sensory play.
With these methods, our teachers provide a strong foundation for your baby’s development.
A Typical Day
Each baby’s routine is different, so we work with parents to keep a schedule. A typical day includes:
- Feeding: We follow your baby’s feeding plan in a clean, cozy setting.
- Diaper Changes: Frequent changes keep babies comfortable. Please bring diapers and wipes.
- Naps: Babies rest in a quiet, safe space following best sleep practices.
- Playtime: Activities include tummy time, reading, music, movement, and sensory play.
- Cuddles and Comfort: Our caregivers provide love and support all day.
What to Bring
To make sure your baby is comfortable, please bring:
- Diapers and wipes
- Bottles and formula/breast milk
- Baby food (if needed)
- A comfort item like a blanket or pacifier
- Extra clothes
- A feeding and sleep schedule
- Health information, including allergies
Stay Connected
