2 Years Old – High Reach Twos Curriculum

Two-year-olds thrive on exploration and creativity. They enjoy fantasy using props for play. Two-year-olds begin to assert themselves for individual independence. Twos need many opportunities to be responsible and to make decisions.

Since this is a stage when they are faced with so many emotions, our staff will guide them to express their feelings in acceptable ways. Special indoor and outdoor time will be provided for gross motor skills, manipulative and fine motor skills. Self help skills will also be introduced when interest is shown. The High Reach Twos curriculum which adds a monthly theme and focuses on a color, shape, animal, opposites and a nursery rhyme each month.

3 Years Old – High Reach Threes Curriculum

Three-year-olds begin a distinct period of development. Activities for the threes will encourage language and movement. Curriculum for the threes will include dramatic play, riding toys, climbers, puzzles, blocks, songs and stories. Socialization skills will also be promoted through indoor and outdoor play. Self expression will be seen through many creative art experiences.

The Three-Year-Old High Reach curriculum will add reinforcement to colors, shapes, numbers, opposites, character education and community helpers.
